Rs 11 lakh of fake currency seized by ATS
Mumbai, Dec 5 (UNI) The Anti- Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Mumbai police today arrested six people from Dadar here and seized fake currency worth Rs 11 lakhs.
The six had arrived in the city from Bangladesh and three of them did not have valid passports and documents, police said.
The fake currency notes were printed in Bangladesh and were intended to be circulated here through small businessmen and traders.
The kingpin of the fake currency racket is in Bangladesh and operates the racket through his conduits here in the city.
