Rain, snow likely in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, HP

Pune, Dec 5(UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Punjab, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalseema, Karnataka and Kerala.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Haryana and in some parts of Himachal Pradesh and west Madhya Pradesh, and were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and in some parts of north Orissa, Jharkhand and east Uttar Pradesh.

Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in Saurashtra, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and in some parts of Rajasthan, Rayalseema and coastal Tamil Nadu. They were above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and coastal Karnataka.
