Missing criminal's body exhumed

Madurai, Dec 5 (UNI) Police exhumed the body of a notorious rowdy, who was allegedly murdered three months back, at Keeraithurai near here this evening.

Police said, R Kalimuthu, against whom several cases were pending, hid himself at his business partner Govindan's house.

Govindan, waiting to take revenge on him for his ''involvement'' in the murder of his relative, killed him with the help of his associates.

On a complaint from Kalimuthu's father, police arrested Govindan and his associates. The body was exhumed on the basis of their confessions, police added.
