Lt Governor inaugurated 6,000 ft long screen painting

Puducherry, Dec 5 (UNI) An art painting on a 6,000 ft long screen was inaugurated by Puducherry Lt Governor Mukut Mithi on the Beach Road today.

The painting organised jointly by the Directorate of School Education (DSE) here and NCERT New Delhi, was to mark the 37th Jawaharlal Nehru National Science exhibition begining here on December 21.

President Pratibha Patil would inaugurate the week-long exhibition.

Thousands of school children are exhibting their skills on the screen, which would be displayed in the exhibition to draw the attention of President, a release from the DSE said.
