Last Haj flight from UP capital takes off

Lucknow, Dec 5 (UNI) The last Haj flight from the city of nawabs carrying 270 devouts took off today.

According to official sources, the flight carried 162 men, 108 women and two children, mostly from Sitapur and Bareilly districts of the state.

The last flight carrying 110 pilgrims from UP would, however, take off from Varanasi on December 11.

So far, three Haj pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia.

The deceased were identified as Mashkoor Ahmad, Aladin and Lateefi Begam of Saharanpur, Moradabad and Rampur districts respectively.
