ING Vysya honours Anil Kumble

Bangalore, Dec 5 (UNI) Team India captain Anil Kumble today said he was honoured to be the Brand Ambassador of private sector ING Vysya bank which had served his family even as he was a small boy.

The bank, one of the oldest private sector banks in India now owned by the Dutch based global financial institution ING, has signed Kumble as its new brand ambassador.

A function was arranged today to honour him where he also launched the bank's 'Want More, Swipe More' debit card.

"As a small boy I used to go with my father to then Vysya bank branch and I am impressed with the track record of the bank as well as the people behind it. This made me to accept their offer to become their ambassador," he said.

Expressing pleasure over Kumble's association bank Managing Director and CEO Vaughn Richtor said, "Anil's achievements on the field stands out and therefore appropriately fits the brand ING Vysya Bank, which is in the midst of significantly scaling up its business pan-India." UNI
