Mumbai, Dec 5 (UNI) Heavy security will be deployed in the city tomorrow in view of the 51st death anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, since large number of people from all over the state are expected to arrive here to pay tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution.

Co-incidentally, December 6 is also the day when the disputed Babri Masjid at Ayodhya was demolished.

Security personnel from Riot Control Police, State Reserve Police along with cops in plain clothes will be deployed to maintain vigil, according to a Mumbai police official.

Mumbai's historic Shivaji Park in Dadar will be one of the main venues where ''Dalit'' leaders from across the state would be gathering to pay homage to Dr Ambedkar.

The official added that a special vigil was being maintained at all sensitive places in the metroplis especially mosques and temples in view of Babri Masjid's 15th anniversary of demolition.
