Farmer shot dead over land dispute

Farrukhabad, Dec 5 (UNI) Armed assailants shot dead a farmer over an old land dispute in Rajepur area here today.

Shiv Pal of village Gandhi had gone to plough field this morning, when he was indiscriminately fired upon by miscreants on his prowl.

The killers were, meanwhile, absconding, police said.

An FIR had been lodged against Krishnapal Singh and his three family members in this connection.

A hunt for the accused was on.
