'Fake' bomb creates panic at Mahoba railway station

Lucknow, Dec 5 (UNI) A 'fake' bomb planted inside a bag created panic at the Mahoba railway station in Uttar Pradesh this afternoon.

Police said here an unclaimed bag was found at the railway station. When bomb experts opened the bag, besides a few clothes, an object wrapped in jute thread (suthli) was found. When the thread was opened, experts found a stone wrapped in paper was found.

''It was a mischief meant to create panic,'' Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order/Crime) Brij Lal said here.
