Ex-CM rules out leadership change for KPCC
Gulbarga, Dec 5 (UNI) Ruling out the ''need'' for a change in the Congress leadership in Karnataka, former Chief Minister N Dharam Singh today said ''the party can face the coming Assembly elections under the leadership of KPCC President Mallikarjun Kharge.'' Addressing a press conference here, Mr Singh said ''there is no proposal to change the state leadership, but District Congress Committees will be reorganised after December 16.'' Stating that elections would be held in April or May, 2008, the Congress leader said the party would not align with any political party. ''The Congress will go to polls alone,'' he stressed.
