Eight students hurt in roof collapse
Malappuram, Dec 5 (UNI) Eight students of a lower primary school were injured, one of them seriously, as roof of their class room collapsed at Mukkuthala in this district of Kerala today.
Police said the accident occurred when the tiled roof of the Government LP School collapsed after a coconut tree fell on it, wounding the students.
The school headmistress, who was present in the class room, also sustained a minor injury.
The seriously injured student was admitted to a private hospital in neighbouring Thrissur district, police added.
