Criminals shot dead Panchayat Sewak in Sheohar

Sheohar, Dec 5: A group of armed criminals shot dead a Panchayat Sewak at Khairwadarp under town police station area in the district late last night.

Police superintendent Ajay Kumar Mishra said here today Panchayat Sewak Sanjay Singh was fast asleep in his house at Khairwadarp when some miscreants entered the house and shot him dead.

Meanwhile, police have arrested siblings Ajay and Munna Singh of the same village on the basis of FIR lodged by the victim's wife in the concerned police station.

The reason behind the murder is said as to be property dispute.

The body was taken into custody by the police and sent for post- mortem, he said.
