Cash, foreign currency, gold stolen from NRI's home

Phagwara, Dec 5 (UNI) A cash of about Rs Four Lakh, including 8000 US dollars, besides 200 gm of gold ornaments were stolen from the house of one NRI woman in mohalla dharamkot here, police today said.

According to reports lodged with Phagwara Police, the NRI woman Bimla Devi, was attending marriage ceremonies of her nephew in the neighourhood, when the miscreants entered in her house and decamped with valuables worth Rs six lakh late last night.

Police has registered a case and was investigating the matter.
