Bangladeshi tribal delegates to visit Tripura

Agartala, Dec 5 (UNI) A 12-member delegation of different tribal bodies and intellectuals of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) of Bangladesh would visit here this week to study and exchange views and information of their counterparts in Tripura.

State Tribal Welfare minister Jitendra Choudhury told UNI here today the team led by Sagarika Royaja of Khagricherra division in CHT is expected to arrive later today on a five-day sojourn.

They will meet the different tribal communities as well as the officials of the tribal welfare department including minister besides, Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council authority during the trip, Mr Choudhury said.
