Air-hostess, 4 others arrested in illegal immigration racket

Mumbai, Dec 5 (UNI) The crime branch of Mumbai police has arrested five people, including an air-hostess from Jet Airways, here last night for allegedly operating an illegal immigration racket.

According to a crime branch official, ''Aliya Rizvi, an air-hostess with Jet Airways, had taken three persons abroad using fake marriage documents.'' ''Last month Rizvi went to the United Kingdom with a person and came back alone,'' the official added.

Rizvi had allegedly so far taken two persons to the US and one to UK using fake documents.

Of the five arrested, three are immigration agents and one of them was supposed to go abroad with Rizvi on her next trip.

The five arrested have been remanded to police custody till December 7.
