AIADMK resort to noval agitation against power failure in TN

Tiruchirapalli, Dec 5 (UNI) Members of the Tiruchirapalli Urban District AIADMK, led by their District Secretary A Murugaiyan, staged a noval demonstration by holding torches and Lanther lamps in front of the Collectorate here today, condemning the undisclosed power cut in the State.

They also condemned the Tamil Nadu Government's inability to maintain power plants properly, which resulted in the acute shortage of power supply in the state.

The members of the Tiruchirapalli Rural District AIADMK had also staged similar demonstrations at Musiri under the leadership of former AIADMK Minister and Party's Organising Secretary M Chinnasamy, while State MGR Youth Wing Secretary N R Sivapathy, led another group of volunteers at Thottiam near here .

UNI
