WHO appreciates Bihar govt for excellent works in polio eradication

Patna, Dec 4 (UNI) World Health Organisation (WHO) today appreciated the Bihar government for its co-operation in ongoing polio eradication drive and vaccination programmes to combat various diseases.

WHO Director General Margaret Chan along with other members of a delegation called on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and appreciated the sincere efforts of the state government in carrying out the WHO aided several health projects in the state.

The delegates also discussed the ways to effectively implement the proposed health projects in the state and noted that doctors of the state government would have vital role in implementing it to achieve the desired results.
