Swamy for UNDP Regional Conference in Tehran

Chennai, Dec 4 (UNI) Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy will participate in the UNDP Regional Conference to be held at Teheran in Iran from December 17.

Organised by the faculty of Law at Shahid Behesthi University in Tehran, Dr Swamy would speak on 'Rule of Law and Enforcement of Citizens Rights: The Case of India' in the two-day meet, according to a party release here today.

This would be Dr Swamy's second visit to Iran. In 2003, he had visited Iran on an invitation from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
