New Delhi, Dec 4 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today directed a TV channel to produce the unedited tapes of the episode aired yesterday, which claimed that lawyer R K Anand had housed Sunil kulkarni, the key witness in the BMW case, for 18 months in his farmhouse near Shimla in 1999.

A bench comprising Justices B Madan Lokur and Manmohan Sarin directed NDTV to produce all records including the unedited tapes, in the court by December 6.

Contempt proceedings against the lawyer and prosecution lawyer I U Khan are going on in the court for allegedly influencing the key witness to depose in favour of their client Sanjeev Nanda, who is an accused in the infamous BMW case.

The proceedings were initiated in the court after NDTV conducted a sting operation showing Anand and Khan influencing Kulkarni.

Anand today told the court that the news channel had yet again shown a fake TV report that he had treated Kulkarni at his harm house after the accident in 1999.

He said the TV channel had got no substance in the news report and was doing so to prejudice the court and tilt the case.

Anand is aggreived at the way case is being proceeded against him. He sought that Justice Sarin should recuse himself from the case, saying justice will be denied to him.

However, Judge Sarin refused to recuse himself from the case and Judge S K Misra refused to hear Anand's case. Justice Lokur has now taken over the case.
