Dr Sushobhan Bandopadhyay selected as visitor's nominee to VBU

Bolpur, Dec 4 (UNI) President and Visitor to Visva Bharati University Pratibha Patil has selected Dr Sushobhan Badhopadhyay as her nominee to the VBU.

The HRD ministry today informed the University regarding this in a letter addressed to its Vice-Chancellor.

When Mrs Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were the Chancellors of the University, Dr Bandhopadhyay had been selected as the Chancellor's nominee following the suddent death of Ashes Prasad Mitra.
