Anil Ambani among 5 senior Reliance officials booked

Lucknow, Dec 3 (UNI) Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group chairperson Anil Ambani along with four senior Reliance Communication officials were tonight booked at Naka police station here on charges of hurting the religious sentiments of a particular caste.

According to police, the case under section 295 (a) of IPC was registered by Naka Gurudwara Management Committee head Rajendra Singh Bagga after he reportedly received an 'objectionable' and ' humiliating' short messaging service (SMS) from a Reliance cellphone today.

Others, who had been booked comprise Reliance Communication Managing Director, Reliance Communication North-India Head, UP Reliance Communication Chief and regional manager.

Investigations were underway.
