Uma Khurana deposes before court in complaint filed by her

New Delhi, Dec 3 (UNI) Uma Khurana, the victim of a fake sting operation, today deposed before the court of Metropolitan Magistrate . Earlier she had filed a criminal defamation case against a TV channel and its reporter Prakash Singh.

The court today fixed December 18, next date for hearing.

Uma Khurana was framed in the fake TV sting which showed her running an alleged prostitution racket.

The show aired on August 30 led to violence outside the school in Daryaganj area of Central Delhi where Khurana was a teacher.

Khurana's services were subsequently terminated and she had to face humiliation and mental agony. She was, however, given a clean chit by the Delhi police in September.

UNI
