Three youths arrested for attack on doctors near Safdarjung hospital

New Delhi, Dec 3 (UNI) Three youths, including a son of a DIG of the Border Security Force, were arrested for attacking some medical students near Safdarjung hospital last night, police said today.

Rohan, Sachin and Anil had an altercation with a few MBBS students outside the Safdarjung hospital late last night when the doctors were returning to their hostel.

After altercation, the three youths attacked the medical students, leaving them injured.

However, after the students shouted for help, the hospital staff came to their rescue and handed over the youths, who were alleged to have consumed liquor, to the police.

One of the youth is the son of a BSF DIG, the police said.

The youth were today produced in a local court which remanded them a 14-days judicial custody.
