Girl killed after bus hits motorcycle in East Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 3 (UNI) A ten-year-old girl was killed and her brother injured when their motorcycle was hit by a private bus this morning, police said.

Rehana and her brother Bilal were going from Loni border in Ghaziabad to Nizamuddin on a motorcycle, which Bilal was driving, when a school bus hit them in the Khajuri Khas area in East Delhi at around 0700 hours, the police said.

Rehana died on the spot while her brother was admitted to the GTB hospital with serious injuries.

Enraged over the incident, a few school boys standing near the spot pelted stones at the bus, damaging the window panes.

The police was conducting a post mortem of the girl's body to ascertain the nature of injury before arresting the driver.
