Capital city put on high alert after IB inputs of terror strike

New Delhi, Dec 3 (UNI) An high alert has been sounded in the Capital city after Intelligence Bureau(IB) inputs indicated possibility of a terrorist strike in the coming days.

''General security in the Capital city has been heightened after inputs recieved from the Intelligence Bureau suggested possibility of a strike by terrorist outfits in the coming weeks,''Delhi Police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat said.

The information recieved talked of possible terrorist attacks in markets and other crowded areas.

''The security forces have been asked to be on high alert to any suspicious activity. Also, the security and patrolling has been enhanced in markets, cinema halls, airports, bus terminals and railway stations,''Mr Bhagat added.

Bomb disposal squads, dog squads and additional police personnel have been deployed at the above places.
