Assembly election under Vasundhara Raje's leadership--Rajnath

Alwar, Dec 3 (UNI) BJP President Rajnath Singh today denied reports of infighting and dissidence in the party's Rajasthan unit and said the party would contest the next assembly elections in the state under Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's leadership.

Talking to UNI in Behror town near here, Mr Singh said there was no major problem in the affairs of BJP's Rajasthan unit and things were all in good shape.

''Even if some minor areas of problem are found they would be addressed well and settled before the elections which are due to be held by end of 2008,'' Mr Singh added.

The BJP president also ruled out possibility of any action against dissidents and said that dissent would be converted into consent by the approach of the poll dates.

Mr Singh was in Behror to inaugurate a private hospital.

Ms Raje was also present at the function.
