AP govt to organise campaign cum workshop on 'Ksharsutra'

Hyderabad, Dec 3 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government will organise a state-level campaign cum workshop on 'Ksharsutra', sponsored by Department of Ayush, Government of India, from December 12 and 13.

According to a release here today, the objective of the campaign was to sensitise the Ayurvedic and Allopathic surgeons to the beneficial effects of 'Ksharsutra' as a method of treatment for the patients of Anorectal disorders, particularly in Fistula-in-ano and piles.

The workshop would be inaugurated by state Hospital Services Minister V Venkateswarlu.

The first day of the workshop would be dedicated entirely for scientific discussions.

'Ksharsutra' is an Ayurvedic technique used for the treatment of anorectal disorders.

UNI
