Afii launches financing in Raj; to focus on NE region by June'08

Jaipur, Dec 3 (UNI) Targeting to achieve Rs 2,000 crore turnover by next one year, Afii Corporate Advisors Limited today launched its customer support service for Ashok Leyland Limited (ALL) in Rajasthan and would enter the market in Eastern and Western India by June 2008.

The company launched its initiative for financial empowerment of customer of commercial vehicles earlier this year and had launched its service for Ashok Leyland vehicles in Punjab on October 8 last, company Managing Director Maheshpal S Gandhi said here.

Mr Gandhi told reporters that so far the company had launched its service in the Northern region including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and National Capital Region.

With the tie up with Ashok Leyland, the company had already in excess to Rs 9,000 crore market and aims at achieving a turnover of Rs 2,000 crore in the first year of its operations.

The advantage to the customers is that they would get better knowledge, access and choice for available financing options for vehicles with comparatively cheaper interest and processing expenses as compared to other private bankers or financers, Mr Gandhi said.
