15-kg RDX, ammunitions recovered, hideout busted in Reasi

Jammu, Dec 3 (UNI) Troops of Rashtriya Rifles recovered 15 kg of RDX along with other explosives including ammunition in tehsil Mahore of Reasi district today evening, official sources said.

They said the troops of 51 Rashtriya Rifles were on routine patrolling in village Shikari of Mahore tehsil. They found a dump of ammunition in the area. When searched, 15 kg RDX, two Chinese hand grenades, one AK magazine, 50 rounds of ammunition, 15 pencil cells, one pouch and 30 metres trip wire were recovered from the hideout, the sources told UNI.

The hideout was busted around 1700 hrs today and the area was cordoned off while a search was launched, the sources added.
