Maruti Suzuki November sales rise by 26.6%

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, country's biggest car maker today said it sold 69,699 vehicles in November this year, up by 26.6 per cent in the corresponding month last year.

Maruti, which is 54.2 per cent owned by Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation, said in a statement that its domestic sales rose 24 per cent to 65,216 vehicles and exports jumped 82.3 per cent to 4,483 cars.

It is the 21st consecutive monthly rise, helped by increase in demand during the festival season.

During the month of november, Maruti's best selling small car Alto also recorded its highest ever domestic sales of 22,784 vehicles.
