Khandu calls for transparency and judicious use of funds

Itanagar, Dec 01 (UNI) Aruanchal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu has called for maintaining transparency and judicious utilisation of development funds provided by the Centre.

Addressing a press conference at the closing ceremony of the district level training camp organised by the Congress Seva Dal at Daporijo in Upper Subansiri yesterday, the Chief Minister extended his gratitude to the Centre for lending a helping hand to the state.

He urged the public to reciprocate the gesture with united efforts to bring the state at par with other developed states, official sources said here today.

Advocating for innovative ideas to be envisaged for proper and quality implementation of the development work, Mr Khandu urged the local elected leaders and people to ensure timely completion of schemes and maintain a healthy and hygienic environment in the district.

He further spoke about the diversion of plan head posts to non-plan with proper justification.
