Jewellery fair in AP city from Dec 8

Vijayawada, Dec 1: The three-day Vijayawada Gold and Diamond Jewellery Fair 2007 will begin at Seshasai Kalyana Vedika here on December 8.

The event will facilitate people from Krishna, East and West Godavari, Guntur and Khammam Districts to buy jewellery for wedding and festive seasons here instead of travelling to Chennai and Hyderabad, Aditi Event Management Chief Executive Officer (CEO) K S Krishna Mohan told a press conference today.

Mr Mohan said the city was hosting the event for the fourth consecutive year.

Jewellers from Jaipur, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Coimbatore Hyderabad, Guntur and Vijayawada would participate in the mega event offering variety of designs to the visitors.

There would be four lucky draws every day in which jewellery worth Rs 20,000 would be given to the winners.

A bumper prize worth Rs 15,000 would be given away through a lucky draw on the concluding day, Mr Mohan added.
