New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) It is 'Om Shanti Om' on veteran BJP leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra's 76th birthday tomorrow.

And if you think that it is chanting of some vedic mantras for his long and prosperous life, then you have another thing coming.

It is not the intonation of mantras or conduct of any kind of yagna on his birth anniversary, but the screening of the latest Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Om Shanti Om' that is drawing all the attention.

Delhi BJP's Chandni Chowk district president Virendar Sachdeva has booked the entire 900 seats of Delight theatre in central Delhi for tomorrow in which around 700 children from two Daryaganj-based orphanages, 600 from Arya Anathalya and 100 from Jain Balasharam, and party activists will watch the King Khan's latest flick, which hit the marquee on Diwali last month.

Talking to UNI, Mr Sachdeva said,'' The entire hall has been booked and we will be celebrating the day as 'Sneh Diwas'. Besides Mr Malhotra and Delhi BJP president Harshvardhan, many local party activists, councillors and MLAs will also be present in the 0900-1200 hrs show. It is our way of paying tribute to and celebrating the birthday of our respected leader.'' ''Children from orphanages hardly have access to such small luxuries, so I thought of taking them to a movie on the occasion of Mr Malhotra's birthday. Besides the film, the children will be given food packets and return gifts,'' he added.

''We had also urged the Delhi government for 30 per cent entertainment tax exemption for the show and I am happy that our request has been acceded to,'' he beamed..
