Hero Honda sells 5 lakh units in festive season

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Two-wheeler major Hero Honda Motors Ltd (HHML) today said it has sold more than 5,00,000 units during the festival season.

HHML, founded in 1984, said it dispatched 2,88,027 units last month, against 2,80,171 units during the corresponding period a year ago.

With this, its cumulative sales for the period January-November this year has gone up to 30,68,519, a company statement said.

Hero Honda has more than 50 per cent share in domestic motorcycle market, it added.

HHML is a joint venture between Hero Group and Japan's Honda Motor Company.
