Haryana to provide e-dairycard to dairy farmers
Chandigarh, Dec 1 (UNI) Haryana State Dairy Development Federation has decided to launch the facility of e-dairycard in collaboration with Pranam Kisan Service and HSBC Bank as a pilot project from Nathusari Chaupata village of Sirsa district on December 3.
While stating this here today, the Managing Director of the Federation, Mr Dhanpat Singh said that the Chairperson of the Federation, Ms Chandrawati would launch the scheme by providing e-card to the dairy farmers.
Mr Singh said the project would facilitate the farmers for easy withdrawing of their milk price and they would not remain dependent on the secretary of the societies to get their earnings.
The Federation would directly deposit income of their milk provided to the Federation in their accounts from where they could withdraw it easily, he said.
In the e-dairycard, the information related to all the financial activities of the farmers would be provided so that the farmers could avail various bank loan facilities. It would also provide land related information to the farmers so that they could give impetus to their agricultural activities.
