CPI(M) fields Bhuban Pramanik for Balagarh Assembly bypoll

Kolkata, Dec 01 (UNI) The Left Front constituent CPI(M) has fielded Mr Bhuban Pramanik for December 29 Balagarh Assembly byelection.

Announcing this, CPI(M) State Secretary Biman Bose told UNI that Mr Pramanik would be the party's candidate.

The last day of filing nomination is December 11, while counting would take place on January two.

The byelection was necessitated following the death of CPI(M) MLA Dibakanta Rout.
