Atwal condemns violence in Chhattisgarh

New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker Charnjit Singh Atawal today said 12 people, including ten jawans of the Second Mizoram Reserve Police Battalion, were killed in a landmine blast at Dantewara district in Chhattisgarh on November 29.

Making this reference in the Lok Sabha, Mr Atawal said the house condemned such acts of violence perpetrated against innocent people and the law enforcing agencies.

The House also observed a brief silence as a mark of respect.
