Turkey desires tie-up with AP in IT, construction business

Hyderabad, Nov 30 (UNI) The Governor of Denizili Province of Turkey Hasan Canopolat today said his country was keen to improve bilateral trade relationships with Andhra Pradesh in Construction and IT business sectors.

Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Hasan said a 17-member delegation including businessmen of Turkey interacted with business community of the State at a meeting organised by the Federation of Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) and invited them to visit the country to explore the business opportunities.

Stating that Turkey was making proposals to enter into construction business here, as well as in other parts of the country, he said the companies engaged in energy and IT business would be invited to Turkey to set up their industries.

''We want to share the IT development with the State and set up joint ventures in trade, power generation, IT, infrastructure development and educational institutions in the state in future'', he added.

Earlier, the delegation met chief Minister Y S Rajasekahra Reddy and lauded his efforts for initiating welfare programmes.

Mr Hasan had also extended an invitation to him to visit Turkey.

Dr Reddy had assured the delegation to provide required land and infrastructure facilities for its projects.

The delegation also visited WIPRO campus and Osmania University and sought cooperation in the field of IT.
