Rs 15 lakh worth gold ornaments, cash looted

Vijayawada, Nov 30 (UNI) About Rs 15 lakh worth gold ornaments and cash were looted from a house at Penamaluru, near here, today.

Police said some unidentified miscreants, wearing masks, entered into the house with knives. They decamped with the booty after threatening the inmates.

Senior police officials visited the spot and formed special parties to nab the culprits.

Meanwhile, police have arrested two persons and recovered seven motorcycles and some gold ornamnets worth Rs two lakh from them.
