Resurgent Rajasthan : Partnership Summit attracts 1.5 lakh crore

Jaipur, Nov 30 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has expressed satisfaction over the successful holding of Resurgent Rajasthan : Business Partnership Summit here today and said the event has attracted an investment of Rs 1.5 lakh crore in the state.

Talking to the reporters after the inaugural session of the two day-event at the Birla Auditorium, Ms Raje said memoranda of understanding (MoUs) for projects involving an investment of about Rs 1.2 lakh crore were being signed by different industrial and business houses.

Besides this, letters of indent(LoIs) for projects of about Rs.35,000 crore were also issued at the summit.

Expressing satisfaction over the prevailing pace of development in the state the chief minister said efforts taken by her government during past 4 years had paved way for resurgence of Rajasthan as most ideal futuristic investment destination in the country.

The 2-day mega event organised jointly by the Rajasthan Government and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FIICI) was inaugurated by the chief minsiter here this morning. ICICI Chief Executive Officer K V Kamath delivered the key note address, About 1,500 delegates from leading industrial houses and business groups were participating in the summit, an organisers spokesman said.
