Kuldeep supporters set afire police tent, block road

Hisar, Nov 30 (UNI) Supporters of rebel Congress MP and son of former Haryana Chief Minister Kuldeep Bishnoi set afire a police checkpost, staged demonstration, blocked traffic and had verbal clashes with police personnel in Hisar and Hansi in the district today.

Ramjee Lal, ex-MP, former minister Hari Singh Saini argued with the police for ''unnecessarily harassing'' the bus owners and checking the private buses engaged for transporting the people for the 'Janhit rally' to be held at Rohtak on December 2.

In the morning, the supporters of rally gathered on Balsmand road and blocked the traffic against the police action to impound the buses.

In Hansi too, the agitators staged demonstration and raised slogans against the government. They also burnt the effigy of the chief minister.
