Husband, wife held for another couple's murder

Junagadh, Gujarat, Nov 30 (UNI) A couple was arrested today on charges of murder that occurred on November 28 at Bhuvatimbi village.

The police arrested Nansibhai Karsanbhai and his wife Deviben on charges of killing a couple, Gopalbhai Kargathra and his wife Bhavnaben with stones.

According to police, the duo committed the crime as Gopalbhai allegedly had illicit relations with Deviben. However, Deviben too had joined in the killing, the police added.

After the murder, the bodies were placed in the backseat of a car and pushed to the side on the Veraval-Somanath bypass road so as to make it look like an accident.
