Vadodara, Nov 30 (UNI) The Congress will order investigation into all allegations of corruption against chief minister Narendra Modi if it comes to power in the coming elections in Gujarat, the party's chief whip in Lok Sabha Madhusudan Mistri said today.

Releasing a 64-page chargesheet, prepared by Congress against the Modi government here, Mistri said the Congress would also review all ''anti-people'' policies of the BJP government which had, in fact, spread canards to mislead the people.

In the chargesheet, the party alleged that Rs 500 crore had been siphoned off by the Modi government in the Rs 6200 crore Sujalam Suflam project and the report of the Public Account Committee had been tabled in the Assembly.

He said the announcements made with regard to Rs 15,000 crore Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojna, Rs 13,000 crore Garib Samruddhi Yojna and Rs 11000 Sagar Khedut Yojna, were all Modi's election stunts as no budgetary allocations had ever been made for these schemes.

Asked about the delay in implementation of the Forest Right Act, that envisages regularisation of forestland in favour of the farmers who were cultivating forestland uptil December 13, 2005, Mistri said though the bill was notified and rules were framed, it was held up because of the Election Commission's Model Code of Conduct.
