Jaipur, Nov 30 (UNI) The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) would dent the upper caste vote banks of both the BJP and the Congress in the coming Assembly elections in Rajasthan, BSP state in-charge Dharmaveer Ashok asserted today.

Addressing a Meet the Press programme organised by the Rajasthan Patrakar Sangh here, Mr Ashok said the party would herald its entry in the state with a huge rally in Jaipur on Febuary 3.

The Dalits of Rajasthan were being socially subjugated by the upper castes therefore, mobilising the upper castes in favour of the BSP was a prerequisite for the mobilisation of the dalits in the state, he said.

Mr Ashok made it clear that the BSP would not align with any political outfit in the state and go it alone in the coming Assembly elections. ''The BSP would put up candidates in all the 200 seats in the state'', he declared.

''The BJP will bite the dust on its own actions while the BSP will see to it that the Congress is defeated in the upcoming assembly elections'', he said adding, the BSP would show its strength with the rally addressed by party supremo and UP Chief Minister Mayawati.

He repudiated the charge that the BSP was spreading anarchy in the state by saying that the BJP and the Congress were spreading all sorts of canards against his party out of fear and said the BSP stood for social harmony.
