3 criminal-turned transporters arrested
Bhopal, Nov 30(UNI) Police today claimed to have arrested three criminals, all brothers, who have turned into transport business through ill-gotten money after absconding for 25 years.
The brothers, who were wanted in several cases of loot, house-breaking and stabbing, have settled in Ahmedabad in assumed names, while their father still lives in Bhopal's Chhola Naka area, City Superintendent of Police Amit Singh said.
Mr Singh said Shankar alias Dhundh, Bhagwandas alias Munna and Jagannath alias Majhle were arrested in a campaign to detain those evading warrants for a long time. Shankar also carried a reward of Rs 500 declared by Bhopal police.
They were arrested from Ahmedabad's Maninagar Gudasa Society.
