Thakur orders for preparation of voters' list

Bangalore, Nov 29: Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur today instructed the officials to prepare the voters' list as the state assembly elections are likely to be held in the next six months following the dissolution of the state assembly.

Mr Thakur held discussions with his three advisors at the state secretariat today before his meeting with the State Election Commission to discuss on holding the elections at an appropriate time without disturbing the student community.

He also instructed the advisors to speed up the administration and take up departmental works on a war-footing.
