Bikaner, Nov 29 (UNI) In an unusual political tiff, Rajasthan Health Minister Digamber Singh has raised objection over state Governor Shilendra Kumar Singh's reported statement against the ongoing opposition to the Indo-US Nuclear deal by Leftists and the BJP.

Talking to mediapersons here last evening, Mr Singh said the gubernatorial office had its decorum and conventions and the governor should have not made remark on such issue.

Defending the BJP's stand over the Nuclear deal, the minister said his party had always worked to safeguard national interests.

Mr Singh, during his recent visit to this desert town, had taken exception to the Leftists and BJP's stand over the nuclear deal.

The governor had said the deal was in the interest of the country and the Leftists through their opposition were dragging the country behind and the BJP, eyeing votes, was also rallying with the Leftists over the issue.
