R J M Pillai new Chief Secretary of Bihar

Patna, Nov 29 (UNI) Bihar government today appointed senior IAS officer R J M Pillai as Chief Secretary of the state.

Personnel and administrative reforms secretary Amir Subhani said here Mr Pillai, a 1973 batch IAS officer, would assume the charge tomorrow after the superannuation of present incumbent A K Chaudhary.

Industrial development commissioner S Vijay Raghavan has been made development commissioner, which was earlier held by Mr Pillai.

''The principal secretary of road construction department R K Singh has been given additional charge of industrial development department'', he added.
