No impact of fatwa, yet another woman commit suicide in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 29 (UNI) Yet another woman commit suicide in the Kashmir valley despite fatwa by Muslim Ulmas against taking such an extreme step.

Official sources said a woman, wife of Nisar Ahmad, consumed some poisonous substance in her house Binlipora in Bandipora. She was rushed to hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

The trend of commiting suicide in Kashmir, particularly by women, was still going on despite fatwa by Muslim Ulmas declaring it ''unislamic'' and against the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad.

At an average of one people, particularly women, are commiting suicide in the Kashmir valley daily.
