Malaysian incidents inhuman, says Qureshi

Shajapur, MP, Nov 29 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Minority Commission's former chairman and Congress leader Ibrahim Qureshi has expressed serious concern over the discrimination being meted out to Hindus in Malaysia and urged the Centre to intervene to stop the 'inhuman' incidents.

''Hindus are not being recruited for government jobs and Hindu temples are demolished on the pretext of development in Malaysia.

This is inhuman, anti-people and discriminatory'', Mr Qureshi told reporters here today.

''Hindus had contributed a lot for Malaysia's independence and Hindu-Muslim unity there was spreading the message of communal harmony across the world for years'', Mr Qureshi said, adding scenes of Ramayana were being staged there by both communities for years.
